قال اخصائي القلب، العين الدكتور يوسف القسوس، ان الاردن يعد اول دولة عربية والخامسة على مستوى العالم في مجال السياحة العلاجية.
وقال القسوس، خلال محاضرة القاها مساء امس، في الجمعية الاردنية للريادة والابداع بعنوان ” نشأة وتطور علاج امراض وجراحة القلب في الاردن”، ان القوات المسلحة بدأت منذ عام 1950 بإرسال طلاب طب الى المملكة المتحدة واميركا واشهر الجامعات وهو النجاح الذي تميزت به القوات المسلحة.
وتحدث عن كيفية انشاء مركز القلب في الخدمات الطبية الملكية عام 1966 التي كان مديرها الدكتور عبد السلام المجالي حيث توجّه على رأس وفد من الخدمات الطبية الى “هيوستن تاكسس” الذي يعد افضل مركز في اميركا والعالم لمقابلة جراح القلب الشهير في العالم مايكل دبغي والاتفاق معه على تدريب اطباء وفنيين اردنيين وبعد عام 1968 اوفد من الخدمات الى المركز الدكتور داوود حنانيا للتعلم،وارسل وفد آخر ومعه مُخدِر وفني قلب لعلاج وجراحة امراض القلب.
واشار القسوس، انه في ايار 1970 عاد من المملكة المتحدة بعد حصوله على شهادة امراض داخلية في القلب، وفي ذات الشهر اجريت اول عملية قلب في الاردن لغلق فتحة ولادية بين الاذنيين لفتاة تبلغ من العمر 18 عاما.
وقال الدكتور القسوس انه 14 اب 1973 بدأت مدينة الحسين الطبية باستقبال المرضى لتبدأ مسيرة جراحة القلب بكل مهنية وعلم ودقة ورؤية واضحة وكان هنالك قسطرة وامكانات وزراعة للقلب، مشيرا الى انه تم انشاء مركز للقلب سُمي بمركز الملكة علياء لأمراض وجراحة القلب، وتم افتتاحه رسمياً يوم 25 اذار 1983، وكان متميزا ولا يزال وسيبقى في جميع امكاناته العملية والمهنية والتجهيز الطبي.
ولفت، الى انه في نيسان 1985 اجريت اول عملية قسطرة قلبية علاجية لتوسيع شريان تاجي من التضيق وبعد اربعة شهور اجريت اول عملية زراعة قلب في المنطقة، مؤكدا ان الاردن كان عاشر دولة في العالم واول دولة في العالم الثالث في تلك العمليات حينها.
وفي عام 1995 اجريت اول عملية زراعة شبكة وكان الاردن اول دولة في الشرق الاوسط تجريها وفي عام 1997 اجرينا اول عملية زراعة قلب ورئة في مركز الملكة علياء بحسب القسوس .
وتخلل المحاضرة التي ادراها رئيس الجمعية الدكتور رضا الخوالدة العديد من الاسئلة والاستفسارات والمداخلات التي اشادت بالتطور الطبي بالأردن وفي مقدمتها جراحة القلب.
