نظمت أكاديمية الملكة رانيا لتدريب المعلمين يومي الاربعاء والخميس حفل اختتام وتسليم شهادات برنامج تطوير مهارات اللغة الانجليزية في اقليمي الشمال والوسط ل 22 مشرفًا و198 معلًما شاركوا في برنامج تطوير مهارات اللغة الانجليزية المخصصة للطلبة من اللاجئين السوريين بدعم من مركز تطوير التعليم البريطاني.
ويعمل البرنامج التدريبي في سنته الثالثة على تطوير المهارات الاربعة: القراءة، الكتابة، الاستماع والمحادثة والذي يهدف الى تدريب المشرفين لنقل خبراتهم للمعلم الأردني في مديريات الوسط والشمال في مدارس الفترة المسائية والتي تحتضن الطلبة السوريين.
وشمل تدريب المشرفين ورش عمل عن كيفية تطوير مهارات اللغة الانجليزية بما يتلاءم مع المنهاج المتبع من قبل وزارة التربية والتعليم وورشة تقديم الدعم للمعلمين وورشة متخصصة في كيفية تفعيل قراءة القصص داخل الغرفة الصفية حيث تم تزويد المدارس المشاركة بالبرنامج والبالغ عددهم 83 مدرسة.
اما بالنسبة للمعلمين، فقد شمل البرنامج على حضورهم لعدة ورشات واجتماعات على مدار عام دراسي كامل 2018/2019م، وتمت متابعة المعلمين من قبل المشرفيين من خلال عمل زيارات ميدانية مكثفة لهم داخل الغرفة الصفية تبعها تقديم الدعم اللازم من المشرفيين.
الجدير بالذكر تأسس مركز تطوير التعليم (Education Development Trust) منذ أكثر من 40 عامًا، ويُعد المركز اليوم مؤسسة تعليمية كبرى توفر خدمات تعليمية لتحقيق المنفعة العامة على المستوى الدولي. ويطمح المركز إلى أن تكون المؤسسة الأولى على مستوى العالم في تقديم الخدمات التعليمية، مع تركيز الاهتمامات بصفة خاصة على كفاءة وفعالية المدارس.
هذا وقد انطلقت أكاديمية الملكة رانية لتدريب المعلمين رسمياً كمؤسسة وطنية في حزيران 2009 برعاية جلالة الملكة رانيا العبدالله وتتبنى رؤية جلالتها للارتقاء بنوعية التّعليم في الأردن والمنطقة العربية من خلال تمكين المعلّمين بالمهارات اللازمة، وتقدير دورهم وتقديم الدّعم اللازم لهم للتميّز في الغرفة الصفية وتعمل بالشّراكة مع ووزارة التربية والتعليم على تطوير برامج التنمية المهنية للمعلّمين والقيادات المدرسيّة استجابة للاحتياجات التّعليمية في الأردن بشكل خاص والعالم العربي بشكل عام.
