أكد رئيس الوزراء الياباني، شينزو آبي، أهمية تعزيز الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين المملكة العربية السعودية واليابان، منوهاً بدور المملكة في السلام والاستقرار بالمنطقة.

ووصف، في حوار نشرته صحيفة “الشرق الأوسط”، الأربعاء، العلاقات السعودية اليابانية بالمهمة، وأنها تقوم بدور حاسم في السلام والاستقرار بالمنطقة، وقال: إن ما حققته رؤية المملكة 2030 أمر يسرّ اليابان، وقد شعرت بالتغيير عندما زرت المملكة 2013.
وأضاف أنه “يعمل بتعاون وثيق مع الأمير محمد بن سلمان، ولي العهد نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، وزير الدفاع على التعاون الثنائي، إضافة إلى الشؤون الإقليمية والدولية، ويتطلع إلى تبادل مفيد جداً لوجهات النظر مع ولي العهد حول طريقة تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية والتعاون في قمة مجموعة العشرين التي تستضيفها اليابان في أوساكا اليومين المقبلين، وستستضيفها المملكة العام المقبل”، موكداً أن بلاده ستبذل قصارى جهدها لإنجاح القمة كي تتمكن من تسليم مقعد رئاستها للمملكة التي تعد شريكاً استراتيجياً ثابتاً لليابان.
وأوضح أن “قمة العشرين” سيشارك فيها 37 زعيماً ومسؤولاً، بينهم قادة مجموعة العشرين، للعمل على تطوير الاقتصاد العالمي وتحقيق نمو اقتصادي مستدام، لتحقيق مجتمع حر وتمثيلي ومستدام، يمكن لجميع الناس، بمن فيهم النساء والشباب وكبار السن والأشخاص ذوو الإعاقة، أن يقوموا بدور نشط فيه.
وأشار إلى أن القمة ستناقش، ترتيب الاقتصاد الرقمي والمجتمع والشيخوخة، ومبادرات عدة مثل الثورة الإنتاجية في مفهوم اليابان – مبادرة “لمجتمع 5.0” -، بالإضافة إلى المناقشات المتعلقة بتزويد السلع العامة الدولية لتحقيق النمو الاقتصادي العالمي، والعديد من القضايا، كتغير المناخ والنفايات البلاستيكية البحرية.
وأكد رئيس الوزراء الياباني أهمية السلام والاستقرار في الشرق الأوسط، مبيناً أن بلاده تسهم في عدد من المبادرات والمؤتمرات الحوارات الدولية من أجل تعزيز الجهود السياسية بالمنطقة.
