وأكد الطراونة والسفير الفرنسي تناسق المواقف الأردنية حيال عديد القضايا في المنطقة، وعلى رأسها ما يتعلق بالقضية الفلسطينية، مشددين على أن حل الدولتين هو ضمان أمن واستقرار المنطقة، ومن المهم الدفع به بما يضمن حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني التاريخية والمشروعة.
وقال الطراونة: إن الأردن رغم تعاظم التحديات والضغوطات سيبقى متمسكاً بثوابته ومبادئه بقيادة جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني، حيث نؤمن بحل الدولتين خياراً لتحقيق حل عادل ودائم للقضية الفلسطينية”.
وحول التجربة الإصلاحية في المملكة، أكد الطراونة أن الأردن قطع شوطا كبيرا في هذا الإطار على الصعد كافة، لافتا إلى أن الرؤية الملكية تهدف إلى مشاركة حزبية فاعلة في المشهد البرلماني وهو ما نأمل أن تفضي إليه انتخابات المجلس التاسع عشر. وأكد أهمية تعزيز التعاون البرلماني الأردني الفرنسي، بما يسهم في تحقيق مصلحة الشعبين الصديقين، والعمل على زيادة آفاق التعاون الاقتصادي ولاسيما في مجال الطاقة، ما أكد عليه السفير الفرنسي بقوله إنه تم وضع مقترحات بين يدي وزارة الطاقة والثروة المعدنية لغايات تحقيق تعاون ثلاثي مشترك مع الجانب العراقي.
وأشاد السفير الفرنسي بالتجربة الإصلاحية الأردنية، معربا عن تطلع فرنسا والاتحاد الأوروبي لمزيد من التحديث والتطوير بما يمكن من مشاركة حزبية فاعلة في البرلمان.
وأكد أنه رغم صعوبة الأوضاع الإقليمية إلا أن فرنسا ما زالت ترى في حالة الاستقرار والأمن الأردنية مدعاة لمزيد من التعاون الوثيق والثقة المتبادلة.
