خرجت سمو الأميرة غيداء طلال، رئيسة هيئة أمناء مؤسسة ومركز الحسين للسرطان، 140 طالبا وطالبة من طلبة برنامج العودة إلى المدرسة التابع لمؤسسة ومركز الحسين للسرطان، وذلك في حفل أقيم على مسرح مركز الحسين الثقافي.
وتمكن طلبة البرنامج ممن يتلقون العلاج في مركز الحسين للسرطان من إكمال السنة الدراسية 2018 – 2019 دون انقطاع.
وقالت سموها خلال الحفل الذي تضمن عددا من الفقرات الفنية “أود أن أبارك لجميع الخريجين الذين تحدوا، وثابروا، ونجحوا برغم المعاناة التي يواجهونها، فقد أثبتم أن مرض السرطان لا يمكن أن يكون عائقا أمام الطموح، وتمكنتم من تحقيق النجاح في دراستكم والتميز فيها”، ووزعت سموها الشهادات على الخريجين.
وحقق البرنامج هذا العام إنجازات عديدة منها زيادة عدد مرضى السرطان المنتفعين ومن بينهم طلبة من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، وذلك بالتعاون مع وزارة التربية والتعليم، وبدعم من البنك العربي، الراعي الرئيس للبرنامج.
وحضر الحفل مدير عام مركز الحسين للسرطان الدكتور عاصم منصور، ومدير عام مؤسسة الحسين للسرطان نسرين قطامش. — (بترا)
