قالت صحيفة “الجارديان” البريطانية، إن موجة حرارة قوية تنتظر فرنسا، هذا الأسبوع، ينتظر أن تحطم الرقم القياسى على الصعيد الوطني.

وتابع “يتوقع خبراء الأرصاد أن تصل درجات الحرارة إلى أعلى مستوياتها، خلال ما تبقى من يونيو الجاري، خصوصا فى النمسا وبلجيكا والتشيك والدنمارك وفرنسا وألمانيا ولوكسمبورج وهولندا وسويسرا”.

وتحسبا لهذا الارتفاع القياسي، انتشرت فى شوارع المدن الفرنسية مرشات المياه للتخفيف من الحر على السكان، كما جرى نشر تحذيرات تقضى بالابتعاد عن أشعة الشمس الضارة خلال ساعات النهار.
ويقول العلماء إن موجات الحرارة يمكن أن تكون خطيرة بشكل خاص، عندما تحدث فى أوائل الصيف (يونيو)، ويذكر أن موجة الحر فى أوروبا عام 2003 أدت إلى وفاة نحو 70 ألف شخص. (وكالات)
