KOICA Jordan Office, in collaboration with the KOICA Alumni Association of Jordan (KAAJ), successfully conducted a knowledge-sharing seminar on April 16, 2025, at the Boulevard Arjan Hotel. The seminar focused on “Capacity Building on Strengthening Statistical Ability for SDG Indicators” and explored various topics related to technology’s role in enhancing digital learning frameworks to drive innovation and sustainability.
The seminar aimed to disseminate the knowledge and lessons learned from the KOICA training program on “Capacity Building on Strengthening Statistical Ability for SDG Indicators,” which was conducted in 2024. The program had the participation of two officials from the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MOPIC).

These discussions highlighted the significant importance of technological advancements in improving education quality, enhancing accessibility, and supporting long-term development outcomes.
The seminar was attended by over 50 participants from various government institutions, including the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Labor, and representatives from multiple private sectors.
Since 1991, KOICA has been providing training programs to Jordan as part of its CIAT (Capacity Improvement and Advancement for Tomorrow) program, aimed at enhancing human resource capacity for the country’s socio-economic development. Over 1,166 Jordanian officials have participated in training programs in Korea to date. In 2024, 72 participants attended training programs in Korea.
