45 extremist Jewish settlers on Wednesday stormed the courtyards of Al Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem. In a statement to “Petra,” Sheikh Azzam Khatib, Director General of the General Islamic Endowments and Affairs for Al-Aqsa Mosque, said the incursion was carried out through the Mughrabi Gate, with heavy protection from the armed Israeli police.
