Normal summer conditions forecast until Tuesday

Normal summer conditions will continue to prevail for two days in hilly areas and the eastern plains, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with low clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman, the northern and the southern cities will hover 27 degrees, dropping down to 18, 20 and 17 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 37 degrees and lows standing at 26, the JMD stated.

Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Tuesday, but similar conditions will remain in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with some low clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the department noted.
