Global COVID-19 deaths top 3.8mn

 The total number of global COVID-19 cases has surged to 176.2 million, as of Tuesday, according to the Johns Hopkins University.

The University, in its latest update, revealed that the current global death toll has reached about 3.8 million. The United States accounted for the world’s highest number of cases followed by India then Brazil.
