Her Majesty Queen Rania wished everyone a blessed month of Ramadan Monday.

Her Majesty wrote on Instagram, “Ramadan Kareem. May the holy month bring blessings of peace, health, and happiness to all.”

Earlier Monday, Jordan’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Karim al-Khasawneh announced that the crescent moon was sighted and therefore declared Tuesday as the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
