Tourism minister, Nigerian delegation meet over cooperation

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Nayef Al-Fayez on Sunday met with representatives of a Nigerian delegation currently visiting the Kingdom for religious tourism.

Talks during the meeting tackled means of enhancing religious tourism cooperation, as Jordan is considered one of the world’s most prominent religious tourism destinations, thanks for its religious and civilizational diversity.

For his part, the official representative of the Nigerian government expressed his admiration for the amount of religious archaeological sites in Jordan, hailing the Kingdom’s peace and stability despite the inflamed situation in its neighboring countries.

The Nigerian official also pointed to the importance of cementing bilateral medical tourism, praising Jordan’s public health and safety measures taken to halt the spread of the coronavirus.
