Int’l oil derivatives prices drop in 1st week of December

 Prices of oil derivatives in international markets dropped during the first week of December, according to figures released on Monday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

The figures show that the price of 90-octane gasoline declined by 14.2 percent, going from $787.7 in November to $676 per ton, while the price of 95-octane gasoline went down from $815.2 to $700.1 per ton in the first week of December, a decrease of 14.1 percent.

Diesel prices also dropped by 11.4 percent, going from $683.7 per ton to $605.5, while the prices of kerosene by 11.3 percent, from $713.8 to $633.4 per ton.

The prices of liquefied gas for December edged down by 9.2 percent, from $838.5 to $761.3 per ton.

Benchmark Brent crude prices dropped in the first week of the current month, from $81.9 to $71.5 per barrel.
