Jordan-Germany trade exchange at JD562mln

Trade exchange between Jordan and Germany in 2021 amounted to JD562 million, according to the Department of Statistics (DoS).

In figures released Wednesday, the DoS revealed that the two-way trade remains heavily in favor of Germany which exported goods and merchandize worth JD544 million to the Kingdom in the past year. In contrast, the Kingdom’s exports to the European nation stood at JD18 million in 2021. In 2020, the figure was JD12 million while German exports stood at JD523 million.

Accordingly, the trade balance deficit between Jordan and Germany is JD526 million, in favor of the latter.
