Warm weather forecast for weekend

 Temperatures on Thursday are forecast to mark 2-4 degrees Celsius above annual average, bringing warm spring weather countrywide, the Jordan Meteorological Department said in its daily brief.

Clouds will appear at high altitudes, with easterly light winds.

Another rise in mercury levels is expected during the weekend, becoming 7-9 degrees Celsius above annual average, with warm weather in the high areas and plains while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom.

Mercury in Amman today will range between a high of 23 degrees Celsius and a low of 11C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 31C, sliding to 20C at night.
