Moderate spring weather to prevail on Sunday

 Temperatures on Sunday are forecast to slightly increase, becoming 8 degrees Celsius above annual average, and bringing warm spring weather in the mountains while it will be relatively hot elsewhere, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Clouds will appear at high and medium altitudes, with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, turning into northwesterly moderate in the afternoon.

On Monday, temperatures will drop to bring about moderate weather conditions countrywide, the JMD added.

Tuesday will see another drop in mercury levels, bringing cool and partly cloudy weather in most parts of the country, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

Mercury in Amman today will range between a high of 29 degrees Celsius and a low of 12C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 35C, sliding to 21C at night.
