Moderate weather to prevail on Thursday

Temperatures on Thursday are forecast to drop to their seasonal average, with moderate weather prevailing in most parts of the country and clouds at high altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, stirring dust in many regions, and causing low horizontal visibility in the eastern parts of the country.

A slight rise in mercury levels is forecast on Friday and Saturday, with similar weather conditions persisting countywide. Winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at times.

Today, temperatures in Amman will range between a high of 32 degrees Celsius and a low of 19C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a blistering 38C, sliding to 25C during night hours.
