Moderate weather, spotty showers forecast for three days

Pleasant autumn weather is expected to prevail on Sunday in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be moderate, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) forecast in its daily update.

In the evening, clouds will build up at various altitudes, triggering a chance for intermittent showers in the northern, central and eastern regions, the JMD added.

Similar weather conditions will persist on Monday, with clouds at various altitudes and light and spotty rain, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD predicted.

On Tuesday, mercury levels will rise few degrees, with the appearance of clouds at different altitudes and scattered showers in the southwesterly areas, the JMD further said.

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 26 degrees Celsius and a low of 13C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 32C, sliding to 22C at night.
