Sunny weather Tuesday, cold air mass to bring rain Wednesday

Sunny and pleasant weather conditions are forecast to prevail on Tuesday in most parts of the Kingdom, with southeasterly to northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

On Wednesday, the Kingdom will be affected by a cold air mass accompanied by a depression centered over Cyprus, pushing temperatures down and bringing rain, thunder, and hail to the northern and central regions.

Cold weather will persist on Thursday and Friday, with cloudy skies and a chance for scattered showers in certain parts of the country.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman today will range between 18 degrees Celsius, dipping into 6C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 27C, dropping to 17C during night hours.
