Normal summer weather forecast in highlands, hot in other regions

The Jordan Meteorological Department has released its weather forecast for the coming days, predicting typical summer weather conditions across the Kingdom. The forecast indicated that the highlands and plains will experience normal summer temperatures, while the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will see hot temperatures.

Low-level clouds are expected to be prevalent in the early morning hours over the northern and central regions, with moderate northwesterly winds, occasionally picking up.

Similar weather patterns are predicted to persist over the next couple of days, with a minor increase in mercury levels forecast for Tuesday. The winds will continue to blow moderately from the northwest, stirring up at times.

Today’s peak temperatures will be between 27 and 31 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 19C or even 16C in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have scorching weather, with highs of 38C and lows of 27C.
