Israeli forces on Thursday launched a wide-scale campaign of raids, invasions, and arrests in several areas of the occupied West Bank, targeting 26 Palestinians, including ex-prisoners. Clashes and confrontations erupted in some cities, particularly Jenin and Nablus.

In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoners Society said that Israeli soldiers apprehended 26 Palestinians from the West Bank, who were transferred for interrogation by the Israeli security agencies on charges of participating in popular resistance activities against settlers and the occupation forces.

The raids and arrests were concentrated in Hebron, Nablus, Jenin, and Qalqilya, where the Israeli troops stormed and destroyed dozens of homes, as they subjected their residents to field investigations after detaining them for hours.
