A minor decline in temperatures is anticipated for Thursday, so weather conditions are likely to be relatively warm over elevated mountainous areas and hot in other regions. Scattered clouds at medium and high altitudes will form, particularly in the southern parts of the kingdom.
In its daily update, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) issued a caution regarding prolonged direct sun exposure during peak hours. Furthermore, individuals are advised against leaving children unattended inside enclosed vehicles. Late-night hours could see reduced horizontal visibility due to fog formation over mountainous regions.
A slight additional temperature drop is predicted for Friday. The weather is projected to transition to normal summer temperatures in high mountainous zones, while the remaining areas will experience relatively warm to hot conditions. Moderately strong winds from the northwest are expected, intermittently becoming more pronounced.
Looking ahead to Saturday, the weather is expected to maintain normal summer temperatures in the high mountainous areas. The rest of the regions can anticipate relatively warm to hot weather. During this period, low-altitude clouds may appear in the northern part of the kingdom with moderate northwest winds, occasionally gaining intensity.
Moving to Sunday, a slight temperature reduction is on the horizon. The weather is anticipated to shift to normal summer temperatures across mountainous highlands and plains, while other areas are likely to persist experiencing relatively warm to hot conditions. Additionally, there is a possibility of low-altitude clouds forming in the northern regions of the kingdom.
Today’s peak temperatures will be between 37 and 34 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 20C or even 18C in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have scorching weather, with highs of 40C and lows of 27C.
