PSD, world programme discuss cooperation

Assistant of the Public Security Department (PSD) Director for the Judiciary, Brig. Walid Battah, discussed on Wednesday with the Senior Programme Manager for Border Management and Security Borut Erzen, ways to enhance joint cooperation to develop security services at border crossings.

During the meeting, Battah said the PSD seeks to improve police performance and services in various fields, especially at the border crossings, to facilitate the shipment movement and to counter cross-border crimes.

On this context, he said the PSD has worked to launch “true” partnerships and strengthened its relations at the local and international levels to serve the border security efforts.

For his part, Erzen praised the PSD’s swift services provided at the border crossings.
