Jordanian parliamentary delegation takes part in APA meetings

A Jordanian parliamentary delegation, led by Senator Nayef Hadid, participated in the 11th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), held in the Turkish city of Istanbul on Thursday.

“Continuous cooperation of the Asian countries’ parliaments have positively reflected on the interests of the region’s peoples,” Hadid told the participants.

He hailed the previous resolution of the APA, adopted in Pakistan in 2017, which exempts Palestine and other countries suffering difficult financial conditions from due payments.

Turkey, which holds the rotating presidency of the APA from 2017-2019, is hosting the assembly’s meetings in Istanbul from November 29 to December 2.
