Vandals ransack PBC in Gaza

A group of unidentified assailants wrecked the headquarters of the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) in the coastal enclave Gaza and destroyed electronic equipment available there.
“Five masked men, armed with batons and sharp tools, stormed their way into the PBC premises in the Gaza strip neighbourhood of Tal al-Hawa, before vandalizing a lot of the equipment at the scene, including transmission and recording devices, cameras and computers”, local sources said.
The attackers also sabotaged the archives of the recording tapes. The Palestinian government condemned the “barbaric attack” on the official and sovereign bodies of the State of Palestine and said it will hunt down the perpetrators and bring them to justice. Gaza’s Interior Ministry also said appropriate legal proceedings would be instituted.
