Israeli minister and extremists storm Al Aqsa

shaheennews

– A group of Jewish settlers, lead by extremist Israeli minister of agriculture Uri Ariel, early Tuesday, forced their way into Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, east of Jerusalem, according to a Palestinian official.

The General Director of the Islamic Awqaf and al-Aqsa Affairs, Sheikh Azzam al-Khatib, told Petra’s reporter in Ramallah that the intruders broke into the Muslim’s holy shrine entering from the Magrabeh Gate under the protection of Israeli police.

Today’s incursion comes one day only after Jerusalem police chief, Yoram Halevi, broke into the holy site along with a group of senior Israeli police officers, coinciding with the occupation authority’s decision to expel seven Palestinian Murabitat (female guardians of al-Aqsa Mosque) from Jerusalem for two weeks.

The Palestinian women were arrested under the pretext of sitting inside their holy site during the Jewish storming the Aqsa yards, he added.
