Palestinian injured by Israeli gunfire in Jenin

A Palestinian citizen was seriously injured Tuesday morning when Israeli soldiers fired live bullets at him near the military gate on the Israel-West Bank separation wall in the village of Dahr al-Abed, southwest of Jenin.

A statement by the Palestine Red Crescent Society said the 24-year-old Palestinian citizen was shot in the legs while trying to enter the occupied Palestinian territories. He was evacuated to Jenin Hospital in a stable condition.

About ten Palestinians were injured by Israeli bullets in the same area during the past few days.
