Israeli forces storm Deir Nizam village in Ramallah

Israeli occupation forces, Wednesday dawn, stormed Deir Nizam village, northwest of the West Bank city of Ramallah, as soldiers stationed on rooftops of Palestinian-owned homes.

“Occupation soldiers stormed the village early today, detained a number of the residents and set up a military barrier in the village’s al-Harsh area,” the village’s Council said, adding that the citizens’ vehicles were searched and their ID cards were checked.

“Israeli troops also raided a number of Palestinian-owned homes in the village yesterday, banned workers from reaching their workplaces and besieged a school,” the council added further, noting that Deir Nizam’s main entrance remains closed by the Israeli soldiers for the eighth day in a row.
