Chinese official expects coronavirus to disappear globally next June

-A senior health adviser to the Chinese government on Thursday predicted the spread of the coronavirus worldwide will end by next June if other countries take measures similar to Beijing’s.

The 83-year-old researcher, Zhong Nanshan, said the rate of infection or other health symptoms among the recovered patients was “very low”.

Zhong was one of the scientist who contributed greatly to the fight against SARS.
