Four deaths, 68 new COVID-19 cases in Syria

Syria has recorded 68 new coronavirus cases, four deaths and 15 recoveries over the past 24 hours, announced the Syrian Ministry of Health, on Thursday.

Thursday’s announcement brings the total number of deaths to 120, recoveries to 661 and cases to 2,898, since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency ‘SANA’.

Syria recorded the first coronavirus case which involved an expatriate on March 22. While the first COVID-19 death was confirmed on March 29.
