Moderate weather forecast for weekend

Moderate weather conditions are forecast, on Friday, as temperatures remain within the annual average for this time of the year, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Winds will be northwesterly moderate, the JMD added.

Over the next 48 hours, a slight rise in temperatures is expected, as relatively hot weather conditions are forecast in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and the port city of Aqaba.

In Amman, temperatures will be 28 degrees Celsius during the day, dropping to 16 degrees at night. Temperatures in the port city of Aqaba will range between a high of 34 degrees, and a low of 23.
