China sees 28 new COVID-19 cases

China on Sunday recorded 28 new coronavirus infections over the last 24 hours, all of them were imported, the country’s National Health Commission (NHC) said.

In a statement, the NHC said that the 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland reported 36 new asymptomatic cases, compared to 27 a day earlier.

“The commission had received reports of 86,212 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland,” it added.
