During the next few days, Jordanians are waiting for the announcement of new government decisions regarding coronavirus measures.

While Jordan is still registering thousands of daily infections with the coronavirus, hopes and attention are directed towards easing the restrictions related to the pandemic, especially those related to the curfew and the lockdown on Fridays.

The government previously announced, through its spokesman, Eng. Sakher Dudin, that the Friday lockdown will extend to the end of March.

But no announcement was made for what will happen in April.

Wednesday, Dudin said in a statement to Roya that the government is currently studying a stimulus package, which will be announced next week, stressing that the goal now is to reach a safe summer in which sectors can be opened and activities can be comfortably practiced
