Qatar reports 189 new COVID-19 infections, zero fatalities

 A total of 189 COVID-19 cases were recorded in Qatar Sunday, while no fatalities were recorded for the third day in a raw, according to the Qatar Health Ministry.

291 infected people in the Gulf country have recovered from the highly contagious lung disease, pushing the number of recoveries to 213,007 nationwide, the Ministry highlighted.

The ministry added that number of people who received a single dose of Covid-19 vaccines in Qatar have, for the first time, topped 2.5 million doses, representing 62.8 percent of those eligible to receive the vaccine in Qatar.
