Relatively hot weather forecast on Tuesday

A slight drop in temperatures is forecast on Tuesday, with relatively hot weather prevailing in the high areas; while it will remain hot elsewhere, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Similar weather will prevail on Wednesday despite another drop in mercury levels, with northwesterly moderate winds, picking up at times.

Moderate weather will make a comeback on Thursday, with temperatures around annual average. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, stirring dust in the Badia.

Today, temperatures in Amman will range between a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 18C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a blistering 40C, sliding to 24C during night hours.
