Rise in temps forecast today

 A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, becoming around their annual average and bringing hot weather conditions in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the highlands and the plains where it will be moderate, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Wednesday and Thursday are forecast to bring in similar weather conditions, with north-westerly moderate to brisk winds at times, the JMD added.

The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Tuesday will range between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 20C or even 16C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 40C and a low of 26C.
