JMD forecasts moderate weather in highlands for three days

 A tangible drop in temperatures is expected on Monday, becoming around annual average and bringing moderate weather in the highlands and the plains, while it will be relatively hot to hot in the Kingdom’s other regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Clouds at low altitudes are also forecast to appear with northwesterly active winds, blowing dust at times in the Badia areas, the JMD added.

Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will continue to persist with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD noted.

Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will register 30 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 15C at night, while it will be much hotter in the Gulf city of Aqaba reaching a high of 38C and a low of 24C.
