Temperatures on Wednesday are expected to be 2-3 degrees above their annual average, with sunny and relatively cold weather conditions prevailing in the highlands and the plains, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Over the next two days, a slight drop in mercury levels is forecast, triggering relatively cold weather in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba where it will be relatively warm, with low clouds in the northern and central regions, the JMD added.

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 18 degrees Celsius and a low of 6C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 24C, sliding to 12C at night.
