King congratulates newly elected Iraqi President

His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday sent a cable to Iraq’s newly elected President, Barham Salih, congratulating him on winning the presidential race.

In his cable, the King expressed keenness to enhance cooperation between the two countries, and maintain coordination and consultation on various issues of mutual interest.

His Majesty wished President Salih continued good health and the Iraqi people further progress and prosperity.
