Czech embassy celebrates National Day

The Czech Embassy in Amman, late Sunday, held a reception marking 100 anniversary of the establishment of the “Czech Republic” that was attended by a number of officials, diplomats and journalists.

In remarks during the ceremony, the Czech Ambassador to Jordan Joseph Kotski stressed the strong bilateral ties and efforts to boost them in various fields .

Kotski also pointed the ability to enhance relations and cooperation between the two countries, mainly in the economic and trade domains, highlighting the importance of organizing more economic forums and exchanging mutual visits at various levels.

On the sidelines of the celebration, the embassy, held a business forum in cooperation with the Jordan Europe Business Association(JEBA) to improve trade and economic relations between Jordan, Czech and the European Union.

A number of specialized Jordanian economic bodies and institutions were participated at the forum, which included showcase of the Bohemian crystal from the Czech Republic.
