Palestinian prime minister meets trade minister

Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah met on Wednesday with Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Tariq Hammouri, in the presence of Palestinian Minister of National Economy Abeer Odeh.

During the meeting, Hamdallah congratulated Hammouri on the launching of the 4th Jordanian Industries Exhibition, which began yesterday in the Palestinian city of Bethlehem, and slated to continue for three days with the participation of 60 Jordanian factories from various sectors.

The Palestinian premier reiterated the “deep-rooted” relations between Jordan and Palestine at all levels, praising the Kingdom’s “firm” position on the Palestinian issue.

Hamdallah expressed his hope to boost volume of trade exchange between the two countries and to increase Jordan’s exports to the Palestinian territories.

For his part, Hammouri stressed continuity of efforts to promote and increase trade exchange between the two countries.
