Jordanian, Russian armies sign military cooperation memo

The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF),- the Arab Army, and its Russian counterpart signed on Wednesday a memorandum of military technical cooperation No. 23.

The JAF’s Planning, Organization, and Defense Resources Director, Lit. Gen. Nassar Athamneh and Deputy Director of Russia’s Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Alexei Frolkin signed the agreement on behalf of the two countries’ armies.

The accord aims to strengthen cooperation, joint work and exchange of experiences in various military fields between the two friendly countries.

Senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army and the Russian Ambassador in Amman attended the signing ceremony.
