PM calls for uniting gov’t efforts on human rights system

Prime Minister Omar al-Razzaz called on all ministries and official departments to continue coordination with the general coordinator of human rights at the Prime Ministry, on procedures and work with civil society institutions related to legislation, policies and practices of the human rights system in Jordan.

The step aims to include these measures in annual and periodic international, regional and local reports.

The prime minister’s decision is part of the government’s commitment to develop a comprehensive human rights system in Jordan, unite efforts on coordination mechanism, and attach this issue the importance it deserves.
