A delegation from the prime minister Dr. Omar al Razaz opened the ” women on frontlines” by Jumana Ghneimat on Thurday conference in the third edition organized by May chidian foundation in the presence of a group of prominent women influential in the field of media, politics and economy worldwide.

The President of the Conference Dr. May Chidiac, welcome the audience and began her speech by mentioning Jordan’s efforts to activate women’s participation in public life. The most prominent achievements made by women in the world in 2018 from the USA elections were the election of two heads of state in Ethiopia and Georgia to the Nobel prizes.

Said chidiac the time has come for equality between women and men to become a cross gender priotity, and the time has come to change the a equition,women are no longer asking men for their rights but men and women are working together to redress the wrong situation. Everyone is indiscriminate, otherwise democracy is lame. ” Calling for raising the voice with all the women who stand up to claim their rights around the world.

The conference included a bout leading women who made a real difference in areas such as politics, media, art and business management, speaking about their career plans and career achievements.

One of the aims of the conference is to raise women’s awareness and encourage them to achieve a better future and sustainable results of public benefit to society as a whole. It also included seminars on the role of women in the development process and their participation in decision making, as well as the role of women entrepreneurs in the world of business and innovation. The conference was also attended by women from the world of media and politics, to share their experiences and work to defend humanity in critical areas.

The conference was held under the auspices of Jordan telecommunications company Orange, and the alameed coffee.
