Israeli forces arrest governor of Jerusalem

Israeli occupation forces on Thursday arrested governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, according to a statement by the Palestinian Prisoners Society.

The statement said that members of the Israeli intelligence arrested Governor Ghaith after storming his house in the town of Silwan, south of occupied Jerusalem.

Governor Ghaith was barred from entering the West Bank for six months, and has been arrested more than 13 times since taking office.
