Palestinians suffocate in clashes with Israeli forces in Hebron

Dozens of Palestinian citizens and students on Sunday suffered from suffocation, due to inhaling gas fired at them in clashes with Israeli forces south of Hebron.

In a statement, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), said that the occupation troops fired tear gas canisters in the vicinity of a school complex and Abu Rish military checkpoint, leaving dozens of locals suffocated.

The southern part of Hebron, the old city and the surrounding area of the Ibrahimi Mosque are witnessing a state of extreme tension as a result of the ongoing settler attacks under the protection of Israeli army.
