Firefighters extinguish grass, forest trees fire in Irbid

 Firefighters at the Civil Defense Department (CDD) on Wednesday put out a fire that broke out among forest trees and dry grass in Wadi al Raqqad in the northern governorate of Irbid.

In a statement, the CDD said its personnel managed to extinguish and control the blaze, which spread over around 60 dunums.

“No casualties were reported,” it added.
