Al-Dawood, Palestinian PM discuss bilateral ties

Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Sami Al-Dawood, Monday evening discussed with Palestinian Prime Minister, Mohammad Shtayyeh, the latest developments and relations between Jordan and Palestine.
Al-Dawood affirmed Jordan’s ongoing support for the Palestinians, highlighting the government’s endeavor in enhancing aspects of cooperation with the Palestinian side in various fields.
Shtayyeh conveyed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, government and people’s greetings to His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Jordanian government and people, stressing the deep brotherly relations linking the two countries.
During the meeting, the two officials also discussed following up on the implementation of joint agreements and the importance of continued coordination between both countries at all levels.
Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, Al-Dawood participated in the Orthodox Christmas celebrations and attended the midnight mass at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
