Epidemiological teams begin COVID-19 random testing in Ma’an

Epidemiological investigation teams in Ma’an government, some 218 kilometres southwest of Amman, on Sunday launched a random COVID-19 testing campaign on employees of the governmental institutions and the private sector as they are recently getting back to work.

“The epidemiological teams are collecting 200 samples per day from employees to ensure they are coronavirus-free,” Director of Ma’an Health Affairs, Dr. Amjad Abu Darwish, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra).
