Moderate weather to prevail nationwide

Weather conditions on Thursday are expected to be moderately summery in most regions, and hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, with northwesterly winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Temperatures across the Kingdom will be on the rise during the next two days, the JMD added, but similar weather conditions will continue to prevail nationwide.

Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 17, while it will hit 22 degrees in the northern cities, dipping to 14. Highs in the port city of Aqaba will reach 39 degrees, while lows will stand at 24 at night.
